Summary of Responsibilities

As part of Individual Business Operations and Services the Field Assistance and Support Team position is responsible for providing training and operational consulting to high profile Agency Distribution Group (MetLife/NEF) Operations Managers and their staff on all ebusiness systems, workflows and procedures.

Ensuring operational efficiencies that facilitate the processing of business while also identifying workflow issues and providing recommendations to improve overall operational efficiencies. Responsible for managing projects utilizing departmental resources including the development of tools and best practices to improve the ease of doing business. This position partners with ADG Liaisons Group, other members of the Service Delivery Group associates and other service partners.

Principal Responsibilities
Responsible for providing critical operational consultation and training for OM's and new business staff via on-site visits and web-ex sessions.
Train and support assigned OM's on all facets of their job responsibility with an emphasis on the supervisory role required of the position.
Facilitate and oversee content to monthly FAST Learning Series web-ex sessions for OM, NB Analysts & PA's.
Train/support newly hired NBA and top producer assistants on new business process from application data collection and placement of case for focus firms or large producing offices.
Identify, and implement workflow enhancements; ensure effective utilization of systems and procedures.
Identify and implement operational best practices while increasing In Good Order results.
Assist OM's and staff in improving In Good Order rates for both Life and Annuity processing.
Contribute to development and maintenance of FAST Manuals and Learning Series.

Required Competencies
3 or more years of experience in field agency and/or customer service is needed.
Expert knowledge of eNewBusiness system, new business processing workflows, New Business Management Reports, Agency Office Cashiering, inforce processing systems and workflows.
Strong knowledge of Field Operational workflows and procedures.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Ability to manage resources to assist in meeting project and other departmental goals. Including leading and managing a small group of business consultants.
Knowledge of field technology systems and platforms.
Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.
Ability to identify issues, make recommendations and follow through on implementation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Team player.
Willing to take initiative and be pro-active.
Strong presentation skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects, initiatives and deadlines.
Customer focused.
