Primary responsibilities include:

 
Underwriting stop-loss cases
Working with sales representatives to sell stop loss to brokers and clients
Setting rates and negotiating adjustments
Reviewing RFPs and plan documents
Participating in monthly meetings to understand objectives and goals



Significant underwriting experience is required, including experience interacting with brokers and sales persons. Stop-loss experience is MUST. Good MS Office skills are also necessary. Candidates should be able to evaluate situations quickly, make independent decisions, and handle situations diplomatically.
