The Office of Risk Management is seeking a Senior Workers? Compensation Claims Adjuster to work in their Claims Administration unit. 

Responsibilities for this position include:

 

?  Evaluating, initiating, reviewing, and investigating all aspects of assigned workers? compensation claims to determine applicable coverage and liability pursuant to local and state statues

?  Evaluating and adjudicating complex indemnity claims

?  Providing technical support to campus workers? compensation risk managers

 

 

The successful candidate will have a bachelor?s degree plus one year of professional Colorado workers? compensation experience which included the investigation, negotiation and management of complex indemnity claims.  The successful candidate will have prior experience with a self-insured claim program providing services for public entities or higher education and possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.  A valid Colorado driver's license and a criminal history background check are required.
