Staff Accountant

Job Description:

 

Candidate will assist in the timely and accurate management of company resources.  Preparation of account reconciliation, journal of company bank accounts and management reports as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

 

? Must have two to four years experience with a high volume computerized general ledger system in a Property and Casualty Insurance environment.  Account analysis, journal entry processing experience and working knowledge of internal controls absolutely required.  Familiarity with internal control and GAAP.  Strong written and oral communication skills.  Experience with a multi-company environment helpful.  Highly developed PC skills, preferably in the Microsoft suite.  Emphasis on Excel, Word and Access. BA/BS in Account or significant, equivalent experience.
