Staffing Director
Description:
- Managing a team of three recruiters focused on the development and execution of a campus recruiting plan.
- Establishing relationships with graduating students, campus placement offices, professors, and other key influencers as part of a plan developed as a result of collaboration with senior leaders and HR professionals across the CIGNA enterprise.
- Developing and executing a competitive internship program that yields high-potential hires during the Fall recruiting season.
- Administering a development program for current Leadership Development program participants that provide meaningful avenues by which associates can accelerate their professional growth.
- Understanding local and national market / economic forces to accurately advise business leaders on staffing projections and expectations
- Managing special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years in a leadership role with a demonstrated ability to create strategy, develop project plans, and execute successfully on assigned initiatives.
- 5 to 7 years previous recruiting experience with a concentration in college recruitment strategy
- Demonstrated ability to identify and attract top tier talent from national schools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels both inside and outside of CIGNA.
- Success at utilizing 'Best Practice' recruiting methods as well as developing new creative sources for attracting candidates.
- Strong technology skills and experience with the use of an Applicant Tracking System are required.
- Demonstrated ability to create strategy, develop project plans, and execute successfully on assigned initiatives.
