Staffing Manager
Description:
Develops and implements strategies to source qualified diverse candidates to meet requirements for high level positions from internal, external and/or referral candidate pools. Leads and participates as part of the recruiting team to provide high quality, timely and cost-effective staffing and placement services to internal customers. Builds relationships with candidate pools and ensures timely communication regarding placement decisions. Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, provides total staffing service to clients, e.g. recruitment strategy, sourcing, and candidate assessment and selection and complies with all legal requirements. Responsible for recruitment needs that are more advanced, i.e. "technical expertise", more senior professionals, more complicated client accounts. Educates managers on recruitment and selection best practices. Has an in-depth understanding of behavioral interviewing skills and candidate evaluation techniques. Ability to interview and assess candidates for high impact positions. Responsibilities CIGNA is currently seeking a new Staffing Manager to work closely with senior leadership to recruit for executive level positions. Position is a very relationship oriented role and works closely with senior level leaders both internally and externally. Position will be responsible for:
Identifying, assessing and recruiting potential leaders
Creating and executing candidate sourcing strategies including networking with leaders in the market, managing retained searches, etc
Building relationships with CIGNA key leaders and HR team members
Conducting industry, company, and candidate-prospect research
Developing active and passive candidate pipelines for pending executive level positions
Monitoring talent acquisition information as it relates to leadership
3 to 5 years previous recruiting experience with a minimum of 2 years executive recruiting experience
Success at utilizing "best in class" executive search methods as well as developing new creative sources for attracting senior leadership talent
Demonstrated ability to create strategy, develop executive search plans, and execute successfully on assigned initiatives
Ability to work effectively through individuals and build relationships
Strong technology skills and experience with the use of an Applicant Tracking System are required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels both inside and outside of CIGNA.
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years previous recruiting experience with a minimum of 2 years executive recruiting experience
