Description:
The Regulatory Reporting Division provides insurance data to external regulators primarily for the purpose of ratemaking. The person in this role will gather, define, analyze, compile and submit AIG's insurance data to external regulators as well as other AIG disciplines with moderate supervision. Tasks include the balancing of data submissions to the Annual Statement, responding in writing to regulatory inquiries, explaining data variances to regulators, and the timely submission of data calls that is critical to the mitigation of regulatory fines. The data elements reported and the scheduled due dates are established by Insurance Departments, Agencies and Rating Bureaus.
