Description:
Audit paid medical claims and examine explanation of benefits and paid claims reports to ensure claims are processed by the administrator within the employer's plan document and payable under the Excess Loss Policy. Process stop loss claims accurately while meeting quality, production standards and specifications in a timely manner. Able to calculate and assign timely and appropriate reserves to claims and continue to monitor reserve adequately throughout the policy year of the claim. Uses appropriate cost containment techniques including strategic vendor partnerships to reduce overall cost of claims. Support the "triangle" and assist Underwriters and Sale Directors on renewals of cases.
