Stoploss/Reinsurance Coordinator
We are seeking a Stoploss Coordinator to coordinate all reinsurance functions, including notifying reinsurers of potential claims, filing specific and aggregate claims, providing all documentation needed to support the reimbursement requests, working with the reinsurers to obtain the highest reimbursement possible for the employer group, and working with case management, accounting, client services, claims, sales, employer groups on a daily basis.
Qualified candidates will have stoploss filing experience, claim knowledge or claim processing experience, be self motivated, have good communication and customer service skills and the ability to communicate and work with all departments and keep the lines of communication open. Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, a professional and confidential attitude and recognition of the need to protect PHI, and the rights of the member under HIPAA.
