Supervisor, Risk Management

Due to our continued growth, USA Truck is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor for our Risk Management department.  You will be responsible for managing, planning, and overseeing the claims management program.  The program includes the areas of workers? compensation, cargo, and liability claims.  You will need to be familiar with state laws and regulations that apply to workers? compensation, cargo and liability claims.  This position will be located at our corporate office in Van Buren, Arkansas.

 
4 year degree required
Minimum of 3 years claims handling and administrative management experience
Multi line adjusters license preferred but not required
Must have strong PC, administrative, and analytical skills
Ability to exercise sound judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences and results impacting people and costs throughout the corporation.
Ability to manage over 10 professional and clerical subordinates
Ability to travel frequently
Ability to lift and move boxes or files weighing 30 pounds or less
Ability to handle high levels of stress
Strong oral and written communication skills including public presentation skills required
