Accenture's Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR.  We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.

 

The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.


Client Operations people are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  They design, manage and implement the activities associated with key business functions.  The difference with working in one of these functions at Accenture is that you'll be in a front-line role.  You could have a customer-facing position where you will have opportunities to think differently, provide input to improve processes and ultimately deliver better services to clients. In some cases, you might be working on customized, innovative services for a single client.  In others, you may provide proven services to more than one client, making every day different and interesting.  But you will always be focused on delivering high performance.

 

TIERS and Children's Insurance Policy Specialist

 

- Conducts testing and operational reviews for TIERS and other systems used for client services prior to start up of center operations and prior to new releases of system upgrades
- Assesses the adequacy of training approach, material and outcomes of training efforts for CSRs prior to center operations and prior to major system releases
- Reviews and assesses the various job aids, work instructions and desk reference material created for initial CSRs use and for all system upgrades
- Assists with start-up activities in call operations centers providing direct subject matter expertise and guidance to CSRs as they perform their duties with clients
- Provides direct subject matter expertise to CSRs and CSR Supervisors as needed prior to, during and for a limited time after center operations begin
- Conducts assessments of start-up operations and makes recommendations for improvements following each deployment
- Reviews guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations; and, monitors compliance
- Provides direction, guidance, and assistance in program areas
- Establishes goals and objectives that support overall strategies
- Plans, develops, and schedules priorities and standards for achieving goals
- Reviews results of special investigations, internal audits, research studies, forecasts, and modeling exercises to provide direction and guidance
- Develops and implements techniques for evaluating program activities
- Develops goals and objectives consistent with Accenture strategic plans
- Identifies the need to revise program area(s)
- Represents Accenture at business meetings, hearings, legislative sessions, conferences, and seminars or on boards, panels and committees
- Accountable for meeting, measuring, and reporting against related federal/state policies, rules, and compliance standards

 

Qualifications

 

- 3-5 years experience with program policy development, implementation, compliance, and assessment.

- TIERS and Children?s Insurance policy and eligibility operational knowledge

- Expertise in program policy development, implementation, compliance, and assessment
- Demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity
