Job Requirements:


· Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication skills


· Ability to think strategically while executing tactically


· Demonstrated ability to analyze performance gaps, recommend appropriate solutions and oversee implementation of solutions

· Experienced managing projects with executives and other leaders

Job Responsibilities: Summary: This position will be responsible for assisting in the


optimization of Commercial Business’ overall approach to training and


development to better support the Enterprise and Business strategic


initiatives.  The Business Specialist will assist in the planning, design,


development and implementation of Commercial Business’s job role


curriculum and supporting course work.  The Business Training


Specialist will report to the Commercial Business Training and


Development Director.


 


· Consults with Home Office and Field to determine performance requirements and potential skill or knowledge development needs.


· Assists in development of curricula for job categories to define learning paths for employees.


· Conducts research with subject matter experts and others as needed to define training content and to differentiate knowledge and skill gaps from organizational and leadership performance issues.


· Develops clearly defined scope of work and gains agreement on project scope, resources, timeline and outcomes.


· Creates clear and well organized training and instructional materials.


· Coordinates the delivery of training.


· Tracks results of training and conducts appropriate follow-up activities as needed.


· Builds strong relationship with field training team as well as regional and home office management.


· Assists in the prioritization and coordination of training requests and resources.


· Aligns learning activities with performance metrics and other performance drivers.


· Updates senior leaders on progress of training projects and impact of training on performance.


· Assesses emerging needs for employee development.
