The primary focus of Underwriter Advocates is to handle customer service for Auto and Fire business.  They evaluate and discuss new applications with agents and policyholders to ensure proper rating classification.  Qualified candidates must have a four-year degree, be able to type 30 wpm, excellent communication skills, self-motivated and possess strong analytical and decision making skills.  Candidates must be able to work flexible schedules that could include days, evenings, holidays and Saturdays.

No insurance experience is required.  Farmers offers an extensive training program.
