Underwriter III, CL AM

Description:
To ensure a profitable book of business by appropriately pricing acceptable risks and rejecting those that are not acceptable within authority levels established. To market company products and services to the agents and participates in the agency manag
ement process.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a directly related insurance position EXPERIENCE: 2 or more years of direct commercial underwriting experience. Thorough knowledge of commercial lines products. Proficiency in underwriting all commer
cial lines exposures. Able to handle more complex, higher hazard accounts with some guidance and direction from more experienced underwriters or the team leader. Thorough knowledge of regulatory and policy differences among states in which business is
transacted. Actively working toward professional designation(s).
