Underwriting Account Assistant

Westwood insurance firm is looking for an Underwriting Account Assistant who has 1-2 years experience and knowledge of Personal or Commercial Lines.  Applicant will work in a team environment with an Account Executive and an Account Representative, and will report to the Policy Services Manager.

 

Job Duties Required:

 

.  Process endorsement requests from brokers

.  Invoicing

.  Process MVRs

.  File set-up and maintenance

.  Process Loss runs

.  Process Conditional/Non-Renewal Notices

.  Issue and check Policies

.  Additional duties as assigned

 

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of MS office software and problem solving aptitude. Able to work independently and in a team.

 

College grad preferred, although not required.

 

Insurance license preferred.
