Underwriting Clerk

Underwriting Clerk Description: Volt Services Group is assisting an insurance company in the Seattle downtown area in their search for a self starter to support our Underwriting department! The position requires superior keyboarding abilities, 10-key skills, good working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite and ability to type 55/wpm. Job requires phone communication with outside vendors and agents, must enjoy a variety of job responsibilities as well as taking on new projects on a regular basis.





Requirements:
Prior P&C insurance experience a plus.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong orientation to customer service. Must also be able to balance priorities and resources in a fast paced business climate.

This is a contract to hire position.
