VP-Actuary (FSA)

Selected applicant will be key health & welfare actuarial/financial consultant for large clients (5,000 + employees); may lead overall health and welfare consulting services for large clients.

Minimum work experience: At least 10 years in employee benefits consulting or group insurance; at least last 5 years working with large employers on their health & welfare benefit plans; looking for a person with experience in these areas: managed care plan design, flexible benefit plans, retiree medical benefits, health care data analysis, consumer driven health care, disability plans.

Minimum education required: College Bachelors Degree, credentialed actuary.

Special skills required: Strong in mathematics and financial aspects of health and welfare benefits plans; prefer FSA, or ASA for a minimum of five years; demonstrated capability to work strategically with large accounts on their health and welfare plans; manage client relationships; excellent analytical skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software, with strength working with Excel spreadsheets; ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
