Vendor Relationship Specialist

Oversees the service delivery and cost management of an assigned geographic territory.  Serves as the primary point of contact for day to day issues and development of our service provider networks.  Builds and maintains relationships between CCAS, dealers, agents, and service providers.  Ensures the terms and conditions of service level agreements are fulfilled. Identifies growth opportunities and negotiates new partnerships and rates.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

? Builds and maintains the relationship between CCAS and service providers by anticipating needs and responding to vendor inquiries/complaints.

? Works with Network Manager to ensure the terms and conditions of service level agreements are fulfilled. 

? Helps service provider's understand performance metrics and maintain adherence to SLA?s.

? Attends local and national trade shows.Builds and maintains positive relationships and acts as a liaison between Cross Country Automotive Services and corresponding dealers, agents and service providers.Works with Network manager to negotiates structured rates for various services in assigned area.Follows assigned strategy, then explores and recommends new business opportunities for service delivery within assigned areas.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

1.)  EDUCATION:  Bachelor?s degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.

 

2.)  EXPERIENCE:  3+ years Vendor relations/Account management experience.  Roadside assistance experience preferred.

 

3.)  COMPLEXITY:  Strong communication, negotiation, and listening skills.  Applies problem resolution skills and conflict resolution as needed in interactions.

 

4.)  WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Communicates with associates, customers, and vendors in a professional manner.  Teams with peers, supervisors, and management to achieve corporate and client goals.

 5.)  ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned. Flexibility and up to 20% travel required
