Workers Compensation Analyst
In this position you will mitigate the company?s exposure to risk by coordinating all workers? compensation claims-related activities and working with the insurance company and FMCNA management to resolve the claims with the least possible cost to the company. In order to accomplish this some of your main responsibilities will include: screening and analyzing newly reported workers? compensation claims received from the FMCNA locations; answering the facility or employee?s questions regarding process; resolving issues, escalating to senior management if necessary; making initial contact with local facilities regarding the injury; working with the insurance company to manage all open workers? compensation claims that are located in the individual?s assigned jurisdiction; communicating with facility and insurance company to control medical costs and ensure accurate claim information; maintaining electronic files on claims in internal database and ensuring that information is complete and accurate. Associates degree or equivalent required. 1-3 years experience in a business environment preferred. 1-3 years Workers Compensation insurance or adjuster experience required.
