Workers Compensation Claims Manager - HP889

My client is a Fortune 500 Insurance Company.

My client is a well-respected regional carrier in need of a Workers' Compensation Claims Manager for their San Francisco office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties

* The Claims Manager will direct and manage the daily operations of its claim department.

* The individual will report to the Vice President of Claims.

* Manage the operation of the unit, including monitoring department results and implementing changes as needed to help the department achieve its production, expense and quality goals.

* Act as a liaison between staff and other units, management, service providers, customers and other departments.

* Provide overall leadership and direction for a Workers Compensation Medical Case management team. Efficiently and effectively manage all aspects of the assigned unit.

* 5+ years plus of managerial experience in California worker's Compensation.

* 2 years of supervisory experience in CA WC.

* Technical proficiency in California W/C laws, regulations, and their applications to parties.

* Knowledge if CA PD rating, Labor codes.

* Excellent Technical, Negotiation, and Communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal skills self-starter.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Good proven track record of success.
