Worker's Compensation Specialist

needed ASAP for Jericho Insurance Firm

We are looking for an experienced NEW YORK STATE Workers' Compensation Specialist. Responsibilities will include: investigating and handling all NYS work comp claims including scheduled loss adjustments, permanent partial disability and section 32 settlement negotiations. Will be in contact with claimants, employers, and medical professionals. Will see claims through from initial claim to settlement. Will be responsible for maintaining files/forms, and updating files/forms into Records Management system.

You will operate somewhat independently within your assigned authorization. May have numerous contacts with claimant and company attorneys by telephone and in writing.

Hours are usually 8am - 4:45pm (with a 1 hour lunch), schedule is flexible. Position is temp to hire, and we are looking to start someone IMMEDIATELY. EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS ONLY!!! Salary is commensurate with experience. We are willing to pay top $$ for the right person! Please include salary reqs with resume.
