Zone Business Development Coordinator

 



Purpose: Support the growth of new and expanded business through partnership with the Zone Sales Leader.  Create and manage team activities and assignments in support of the development and execution of the Zone’s marketing and Sales, Marketing and Business plan.



 



Reporting Relationships: Reports to the Zone Sales Leader.



 



Essential Functions: As partner with the Zone Sales Leader and in support of business development, assists in gathering, analyzing, and disseminating materials on clients, prospects, products and services, competitors and other environmental factors using internal and external resources.



 



Ensures that sales activity is accurately maintained on the prospecting database, currently





Contributes to the development and execution of office-level sales and marketing meetings, oversees the strategic development of events and integrated marketing seminars working with Industry Groups and National Resources.



 



Partners with the Zone Sales Leader and national resources to develop and execute the Zone’s marketing strategy and communications plan.  Utilizes national and local resources to manage and execute elements of the marketing plan including advertising, public relations, special events, direct mail and other marketing disciplines.



 



Additional Responsibilities: Interfaces with other National and Zone Business Development Coordinators, Industry Practices and sales and marketing resources and shares information regarding sales and marketing initiatives.  Participates in regional meetings and communicates with other offices to foster teamwork and share best practices.



 



Maintains an inventory of sales and communications materials.

 







































 Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and team building and leadership.  Can establish goals and develop and implement plans of action. Is an expert user of the Internet and of company-sanctioned e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet software.  Has extensive knowledge of in-house, proprietary financial and sales-reporting systems, as well as office databases and company-sanctioned presentation software.  Has the ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines, and changing priorities, along with the ability to organize and handle multiple projects.  Possesses at least five years of sales and marketing-related experience or equivalent background, with project management experience a plus.  Management experience preferred. Holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
