ATE Website Director

Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting two or more interactive websites to support national information dissemination, customer service, and activities related to Advanced Technological Education (ATE) initiatives.  Database design, development, and management will be a major responsibility of the ATE Website Director.  The ATE Website Director, as systems administrator for multiple websites, will be responsible for all elements of site and server maintenance, including file maintenance and system backup.  The ATE Website Director will work within the strategic guidelines of the College to achieve objectives of specific grants and ATE initiatives.  The ATE Website Director will collaborate with the College Website Director and personnel in the Online College and Information Technology Division of the College to ensure system security, continuity and consistency of content, and to integrate new technology and software solutions.

 

Minimum:  Baccalaureate degree in computer science or equivalent and 2 years experience in website development and database (SQL) design and management, including web-server and related systems maintenance; or, baccalaureate degree and 4 years relevant experience with demonstrated skills.  Preferred:  Five or more years experience specifically in website design and development, including systems administration; or, a Master?s degree and two years? experience in information technology-related field including database and website development.

 

Job date is immediate.  Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
