Account Director (10908)

The Account Director in San Francisco will have a highly responsible, client facing role, managing and developing existing relationships with Atlas customers. The Account Director will have responsibility for client retention and growth of existing Accounts, and is ultimately responsible for client satisfaction within the Atlas organization. The Account Director will have monthly revenue targets based on their client portfolio, and will be responsible for managing contract renewals and renegotiations and cultivating relationships at all levels of the customer?s organization.

Specific job functions include the following (but this list is not inclusive of all duties as there is no limit to the role of Account Director):
Accountable for client satisfaction and retention, as well as the maintenance of Revenue Stream within existing Client Base.
Maintains, develops and strengthens client relationships, to enhance and build revenue opportunities for Atlas Suite products.
Develops and leads 'kick-off' meetings for new Accounts and Account teams; ensures a smooth transition of new Accounts from Sales to Client Service teams.
Seeks out and identifies, and acts on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities on a regular basis.
Creates relationships within the clients organization at all levels including, but not limited to:
Senior Executives
Direct Users of the Product,
Indirect Users of the Product, and
Decision Makers for re-purchasing or replacing the product.
Using Upshot, ensures all client details are up-to-date and accurate
Produces an Account Plans for all strategic clients and maintains and communicates progress against plan via regular contact with the client/Account using either phone, email or in-person meetings.
Establishes and grows strong internal relationships at Atlas in order to effectively manage all aspects of client business.
Seeks out opportunities to add value for our client companies such as participating in, or facilitating, joint Ad Agency/Atlas sales pitches to potential Ad Agency clients.
Effectively communicates and presents the value of Atlas products and services to the client to ensure their understanding of our full product offering and capabilities.
Takes a proactive approach in Atlas Client Support efforts. Assesses support cases to identify trends that can be rectified through external (i.e. training), or internal processes.
Develops a thorough understanding of assigned clients' Business goals and objectives; seeks out ways to utilize Atlas products and services to help them be achieved.
Continually informs Atlas Product Management of product features and opportunities that will enhance the Atlas product and further Atlas business objectives as well as meet client needs/objectives.
Drive client satisfaction by understanding and communicating all client needs, driving appropriate internal project re-sourcing and acting as project sponsor for all deliverables.

Required Skills:

A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
Must have at least three years of experience in an Account management role.
Successful track record in supporting Revenue Generation.
Must have a strong technical aptitude and prioritization.
Knowledge of ad serving technologies and/or media planning are ideal but not required.
Must have ability to identify and escalate new business opportunities with existing clients.
Excellent Presentation skills coupled with the confidence to effectively communicate complex ideas in front of large or small audiences of varying authority (e.g. Account Managers to Chief Marketing Officers).
Experience utilizing and maintaining sales contact databases such as upshot or salesforce.com
