Burst AdConductor is seeking a Junior Technical Sales Engineer to work closely with the Project Management department to scope, plan and execute custom engineering projects as well as to provide technical, product and functional support to help close sales opportunities. You will work with the project management and sales team throughout the sales and project process, while continuing to develop your technical product knowledge.

 

The Junior Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting project management and sales and of the AdConductor Enterprise solution hosted ad serving technology services to ad networks, web publishers and e-commerce web sites that rely on internet advertising for revenue. This position is based out of Burst Media Burlington, MA office and reports directly to the AdConductor Project Manager.

This position is responsible for the successful execution of customer engineering projects and implementation of our products. In this capacity you will be an expert in our project management techniques, application functionality, technology and implementation to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and success with AdConductor Enterprise services.

 

Job Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

Ensure overall project success and customer satisfaction:


? Scope, plan and execute custom engineering projects

? Act as liaison between integration partner, AdConductor Systems and customer
? Learn to give technical architecture presentations
? Assess current needs of prospective customers prior to on-site demonstrations
? Answer technical questions regarding software capability, installation and system requirements
? Advise project team on optimal design and use of AdConductor Systems products
? Participate in resolution of critical account issues
? Responsible for account status reporting both to customer and AdConductor Systems  Management
? Escalation point of contact for product or service issues

? Assist in closed loop evaluation cycle within accounts and drive deployment

? Provide assistance to other Sales Engineers on complex technical and business issues

. Up to 50% travel



QUALIFICATIONS:

? 3+ years in the information systems, enterprise software or consulting field a plus, knowledge of internet protocols required.
? Familiarity with full life cycle Enterprise Software service/product implementations highly preferred, implementation of other Application Server enterprise applications a plus
? BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent
? Understanding of technical architectures, including RDBMS, client-server, package systems implementation, and internet technologies
? Ability to communicate complex technical analysis to technical and non-technical audiences
? Ability to analyze complex business and data initiatives
? Project management skills with the ability to coordinate, manage, and ensure the success of AdConductor Enterprise deployments
? Desire to manage difficult customer situations
? Programming experience in Perl, Java, Shell Scripting, or C++ is preferred
? Experience with Web Services (SOAP/XML)
? Database/SQL knowledge
? Experience with reporting systems/solutions
