Application Specialist

Onlineshoes.com founded in 1996 and one of the top five online shoe retailers is growing and looking for an Application Specialist.

 

SUMMARY:

The Enterprise Applications Specialist is responsible for the ongoing operations of the Ecometry System, requiring someone who is adept in working with multiple, complex applications covering varied function sets.  The position will be a point of contact for all internal users of the Ecometry System and is responsible for developing an understanding of Onlineshoe?s business processes.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

? B.S. in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or other related discipline required.

? Minimum of 2 years of related I.T. experience or 4 years of relevant functional experience with progressive responsibility required.

? Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience supporting an Ecometry System highly desirable.

? Knowledge of report writing software desirable (T-SQL, HTML, ASP, Crystal Reports, etc.).

? Experience working with middle market company?s desirable.

? Self-directed, requiring a minimum of supervision.

? Strong oral and written communication skills.

? Clear understanding of business processes in key functional areas, including:  accounting, order entry and shipping, warehousing, invoicing, and purchasing.

? Ability to write simple reports using report writing software.

? Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

? Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

? Ability to work towards deadlines.
