Assistant Account Manager, Interactive Services

Account Handling:

? Research Web for team needs

? Contribute to Quick Bytes

? Work with Admin on I-Wire monitoring accounts

? Develop understanding of client?s internal organization, business and sector, and share with other team members

? Draft documents for approval by other team members

? Proof read/quality check written work and Web sites prepared by other team members

? Responsible for managing basic updates to sites and/or applications for all areas of an account including HTML text revisions, graphic replacements and link changes

? Prepare regular activity reports and status reports for clients, for approval by other team members

Performance Management:

? Train incoming Coordinators in basic admin and client servicing work, and coach/motivate them to develop their skills and responsibilities

Quality Management:

? Ensure that all work, including that submitted to others for final approval, is error-free, grammatical and conforms to Edelman standards and guidelines

? Check regularly that staff are maintaining client files systematically and neatly

Business Development:

? Monitor media for new business opportunities, and share these with group management

? Contribute pro-actively to new business activities, e.g. through research, drafting letters, drafting slides for presentations

Personal:

? Advanced Internet usage skills

? Complete timesheets weekly

? Time management skills: able to work on multiple projects at the same time

? Developing a service-oriented, ?can do? attitude for clients, coupled with an appreciation of commercial realities

? Winning the trust and confidence of managers and colleagues

? Build rapport and positive relationships with other team members, by practicing open and honest communication

? Be creative: continually curious and inventive about new solutions, new issues, new developments in communications, new clients, new processes to achieve efficiency
