Automotive Editor

Internet Brands (IB) is the online leader in helping consumers make big-ticket purchase decisions. Our automotive sites include CarsDirect.com, Autos.com and GreenHybrid.com. IB is looking for an Automotive Editor to provide content & community leadership and manage these sites on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

1) Help set editorial direction for IB?s growing roster of automotive sites.
2) Manage day-to-day content production for websites and related newsletters.
3) Manage bulletin boards and other community features on IB auto sites.
4) Help produce marketing and other copy needed by the company.
5) Define business requirements for new content-related projects.
6) Manage 3rd-party content providers and freelance writers.
7) Assist with content for non-automotive sites on an as-needed basis.
8) Track user behavior and traffic patterns.

Qualifications:
1) Automotive writing and editing experience.
2) Online editing experience.
3) Online community experience.
4) Experience managing internal and external resources.
5) Excellent team skills: communication, humility, organization.
6) Familiarity with Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop and html.
