Bid Strategist

Performics, the performance-based marketing division of DoubleClick, is the leading provider of online marketing services and technologies for search, affiliate, and data feed marketing. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Bid Strategist.

 

The Bid Strategist will manage keyword bidding on search engines for more than 40 Google and Yahoo relationships.  The strategist will manipulate keyword positions in order to achieve a program?s budget and ROI goals.  The strategist will work closely with Program Managers, Search Analysts, and other members of the Bid Strategy Team. 

 

Responsibilities:

 Provide keyword bidding services to assigned client accounts, including interaction via phone, emails and direct contact.Bid management for a client includes:

o  Help coordinate launch of new accounts and new keywords

o  Manage and update daily overviews

o  Generate full analysis for each relationship on a regular basis to determine which bids to change

o  Contribute to bid strategy innovations and test new products

o  Meet regularly with Program Managers to discuss status of accounts

o  Sit in on weekly / monthly client search calls

o  Provide coverage for other Bid Strategists during absence

 

Education/Experience:

 Ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in marketing, finance and/or economics. 1-2 years experience in account management preferred.Strong analytical and implementation skills.Solid spreadsheet capabilities.High competency level in MS Office products including Excel and Access.Basic understanding of statisticsUnderstanding of direct marketing concepts and principles preferred.Internet experience preferred.Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity
