JOB DUTIES:

j2 Global is looking for a dynamic Data Warehouse Lead at the top of their game.  In this role, you will lead a talented team of database professionals to continue the design, development, and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and datamart systems in support of standard business measurements, reporting, and analytics.  Technical leadership, integrated design methodologies and quality assurance are key responsibilities of this position to ensure that the highest levels of data integrity, efficiency, and performance are achieved and maintained.



JOB REQUIORMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:

*Lead a team of Data Warehouse professionals responsible for the ongoing development,  

  implementation, maintenance and support of the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

*Through the understanding and interpretation of complex reporting specifications,

  provide business process analysis to determine the data warehouse design goals and  

  implementation strategies.

*Manage ongoing Data Warehouse augmentation and support using managed change

  control and rollback processes in order to maintain high levels of stability and

  availability to corporate reporting users and internal systems.

*Intimately involved with Reporting requirements in order to provide optimized data

  structures and high data availability to established reporting platforms as well as both

  ?power users? and data mining / analytics teams.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

*Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 7 years of

  progressively responsible database development and leadership experience.

*Demonstrated track record of successful Enterprise Data Warehouse implementations in

  Oracle 9i / 10g environments.

*Proven experience designing, maintaining and deploying databases utilizing Star

  Schema/Kimball methodologies.

*Must have extensive knowledge of Data warehousing tools and architecture.

*Advanced data modeling and reverse data engineering experience utilizing tools such as

  ERStudio and/or ERWin.

*Exceptional understanding of business intelligence and reporting concepts and needs

  with an excellent track record of providing database solutions that have met reporting

  requirements with high levels of accuracy and sustainability.

*Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple projects with competing

  priorities.

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
