Position Description:

Reed Business Information (?RBI?), responsible for powering a network of 75 websites across several business verticals as well as publisher of many notable publications such as Variety, Broadcasting & Cable and Publisher?s Weekly, is seeking a Director of Web Marketing Analytics for the Boston office.

This individual will be responsible for driving analytical insights and enabling informed and strategic decision-making across all aspects of the RBI e-business. From the perspective of the online marketer (our customer) and of the 21st century media company, the Director will constantly develop and evangelize new and insightful report formats that change behaviors and improve performance. As the ?master user? and strategic owner (but not necessarily the technical architect), the Director will select and implement a world-class web analytics solution, and will work closely with our technical teams, as well as our web hosting, e-mail, and ad serving partners to maintain consistency and data integrity across the RBI portfolio. Again, we are looking for data rich online marketing experience, and not necessarily technical experience.

Responsibilities:
? Implement an enterprise level web analytics solution that will provide timely and actionable information to key decision makers and influencers within RBI
? Provide insights and make recommendations to senior RBI management as it relates to the performance and profitability of our e-product offerings
? Educate key decision makers on metrics, analysis, and conclusions
? Stay in touch with the latest trends in online marketing and performance measurements to ensure that RBI has the most up-to-date and critical insights into its e-business

The qualified candidate will have a bachelor?s degree in a related field as well as 3+ years of online marketing experience in a fast-paced, data rich environment. He/She will have Strategic ownership experience as it relates to web analytics products/services. We are seeking an individual that has in-depth knowledge of web metrics, trends, and measurements in addition to superior analytical skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
