E-Commerce Manager

Position SummaryThe marketing manager will be responsible for spearheading, directing and overseeing the marketing of the e-commerce store, online auctions site, and direct mail initiatives for the NBA and WNBA. Responsibilities also include the creation, execution, and accountability of a high level strategic business plan.Major Responsibilities-Manage all aspects of online marketing including search engine marketing, affiliate marketing, email marketing and online advertising partnerships. Complete analysis of marketing activity and affect change based on results
-Develop strategy and execute new customer retention and acquisition plans through online and direct response marketing. Work with CRM group in data collection. segmentation analysis and targeting
-Develop brand strategy for all channels of distribution and unsure its cohesiveness with the overall league advertising platforms
-Oversee the site merchandising to plan and implement strategy for the creative look and feel, navigation and functionality of the website
-Develop and execute direct marketing plan. Work with agency to create print advertising campaigns. Determine catalog crculation plan and work with agency in design, layout and production
-Liason between the retail group and other departments within the NBA to leverage league partnerships and assets to promote all channels of distributions through NBA.com, broadcast and marketing partners
-Continue to develop and implement the game-worn memorabilia program. Work with teams and 3rd party licensee to plan out marketing campaigns and identify areas of growth.Required Skills/Knowledge-Knowledge of internet marketing strategies;market segmentation techniques; market research and analysis; customer experiene/usability techniques
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to translate strategy into tactics and action
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to help facilitate communications both within the company and with outside relationship partners
-Ability to execute budget sensitive marketing plans.Experience Needed-Minimum of 10 years e-commerce and/or online marketing experienceEducational Background Required-Bachelor's degree
