Exciting opportunity for an Information Architect!

Information Architect At Keane, our Information Architects are responsible for coordinating the content, navigation and design for a variety of business solutions. We're looking for an individual who can combine strategic business thinking with a strong knowledge of web and desktop application technologies. He or she must have the ability to conceptualize and develop all aspects of web site and application interface designs. This person should have a developed user-centered design methodology and the ability to clearly articulate their ideas with excellent written, verbal, and graphic style.

The Information Architect will work closely with visual designers, content developers, web developers, and clients to create and document all aspects of information architecture and interactive design.

"A day in the life" of an IA includes directing the front-end development team, designing information structures and hierarchies, creating navigation models, and developing interactive solutions for large web sites and complex applications. He or she will also lead client meetings and brainstorming sessions. Some travel is required, generally on average of 50% over the course of the year.

Qualifications:
? Minimum two years experience as an Information Architect designing desktop applications and/or browser-based solutions.
? Creative and organizational vision, strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
? Experience leading large group meetings/brainstorming sessions.
? 5+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: web or multimedia design, industrial design, interactive or exhibit design, software design, usability engineering.
? Extensive portfolio demonstrating the effective information architecture and navigation design for Web sites and/or desktop applications.
? Experience documenting information design concepts and solutions.
? Experience working with financial services or biopharma industries a definite plus.
? Minimum Bachelor?s Degree Required
