Executive Assistant

GSI Commerce provides an e-commerce solution enabling retailers, branded manufacturers, entertainment companies and professional sports organizations to operate e-commerce businesses. The company's e-commerce solution includes Web site design and development, e-commerce technology, managed hosting, order fulfillment, customer service, merchandising and order management, online merchandising, customer relationship management, content development and online marketing. The company operates either all or a portion of the e-commerce businesses for approximately 45 partners. GSI Commerce trades on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange under the symbol, GSIC.

GSI Commerce Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support of a complex nature to the Chief Executive Officer. In this position you will:

' Independently provide administrative support for the Chief Executive Officer
' Manage scheduling of meetings and maintaining calendars
' Schedule business trips
' Respond to phone calls, emails and preparing a wide range of documentation: proposals, reports, meeting minutes and correspondence on behalf of the CEO
' Diplomatically interact with senior management, board members, investment community, vendors and partners.
' Handle confidential duties that require tact and diplomacy
' Follow-up with a sense of urgency to be certain all tasks are fully resolved



Position Requirements
' Must have at least ten years of experience including previous experience supporting an executive
' Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
' Strong written and verbal communication skills
' Ability to handle confidential information
' Good organizational skills - Attention to detail, accuracy
' Proper phone and office etiquette
' Communicate clearly and courteously
' Ability to work in a fast paced environment
' Proficiency is shorthand is preferred, but not required
