Executive Producer

GSI Commerce provides an e-commerce solution enabling retailers, branded manufacturers, entertainment companies and professional sports organizations to operate e-commerce businesses. The company's e-commerce solution includes Web site design and development, e-commerce technology, managed hosting, order fulfillment, customer service, merchandising and order management, online merchandising, customer relationship management, content development and online marketing. The company operates either all or a portion of the e-commerce businesses for approximately 45 partners. GSI Commerce trades on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange under the symbol, GSIC.

The Executive Producer is an advanced creative manager and a senior member of the production team, who specializes in large, complex projects. The candidate will work with the client, creative, project management and executive teams to effectively manage costs, resources, schedules and the quality of deliverables through the full project life cycle. He or she should have in depth knowledge of commonly used project management concepts, practices and procedures.
This position will report to the Director of Design Services.
Project and Resource Management:
'XAccountability for the successful delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects within the creative organization.
'XWork directly with the different teams within the creative organization to plan and execute project plans.
'XUnderstand the business and functional requirements for projects, and convey these requirements to the proper teams.
'XEnsure the requirements are synchronized with capabilities and given time and resource constraints.
'XClosely monitor change requests and prevent unapproved requirement modifications that result in scope creep.
'XSchedule and facilitate project status meetings and advise management on the effects change requests will have on schedule and resources; produce agendas and prepare the resulting conclusions and action items.
'XProvide direction to resources, monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, report project status and raise awareness on issues requiring escalation.
'XProvide resource requirements per project and effectively motivate and manage those resources over the project duration (whether internal or external).
'XCommunicate project implementation options that affect cost, schedule, quality, and risk to stakeholders, as well as offer recommendations based on these elements.
'XDevelop and improve workflow and business processes for ongoing operations, and document the supporting process flow charts that define the processes.
'XManage contractors to approved budgets.

Reporting and Analytics:
'XProduce and publish weekly reports of key performance metrics.
'XMonitor and report on project spend against the budget (including contracting costs).

Relationship Management:
'XAbility to motivate and build collaborative teams who are dedicated to on time project delivery.
'XEffectively interface with all levels of internal, external and client resources (from developers and designers to executives).
'XSet expectations among these groups regarding scope, timeline and quality of deliverables.
'XWork effectively with all groups to build project plans and update project status.


Minimum Requirements:
'XBS or MS in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
'XMinimum 5-8 years of experience in full life-cycle management of small to large scale creative projects.
'XPrior involvement in managing multiple projects concurrently.
'XExperience with Project Management Tools (i.e., MS Project, MSCentral, PMOffice helpful).
'XProven written and oral presentation skills.
