Facilities Engineer

Job Summary:  Maintain UPS, HVAC Systems, Fire Protection, Security, Emergency Generator and Electrical Systems for Data Center Operations.

Perform emergency repairs and troubleshooting. Coordinate Sub-Contractors work and maintain quality standards.

Responsible for support of facilities infrastucture (HVAC, UPS, Fire control, generators, etc) for large 24X7 Internet Data Center Operation.

Please be aware that this position is with NTT America.
 Special Skills/Experience Required:1-5 years experience with UPS systems and Generator back-up systems a plus.

Basic knowledge in mechanical systems (air conditioning) an asset, basic controls and building management systems a plus.

Software experiences with Data Trax and/or Lenel is a definite plus,

Contractor management experience, and management of preventive maintenance contracts also required.

Basic PC skills (MS Office) a must, Visio is a plus

? Physical Requirements, on call, emergency pager support
? Ability to perform data center maintenance such as:
? Physical mobility to change Filters inside HVAC equipment
? Lift computer equipment and monitors (up to 50 lbs. each)
? Move computer room floor tiles, etc. (up to 45 Lbs. each)
