Financial Analyst

GetConnected, Inc. is the leading provider of software solutions and transaction processing that enables merchants to cost-effectively sell subscription services (broadband, wireless, digital video, etc.) at point-of-sale (i.e. at retail, online, and via call centers).  Based on a suite of tools, GetConnected works closely with both its merchant partners and service providers to offer customized solutions to maximize revenue and profit in these ever-changing sectors.  The Company is currently searching to fill the role of Financial Analyst.  The role will report to the Director of Finance and work within a small and collaborative Finance department.  The successful candidate must possess a strong practical grasp of accounting and controls based on sound experience.  The position?s primary charge is to own and then optimize the Company?s routine planning, analysis and reporting functions.  Core areas would include ? but certainly aren?t limited to ? the following:

 

? Own, maintain and enhance all excel models pertaining to budget, forecasts and reporting;

? Drive monthly internal and Board of Director reporting;

? Participate in the annual planning process and be the primary source for modeling and outputs, including preparation of the final bound deliverable distributed to the Executive team and the Board of Directors; and

? Ad hoc financial analyses and reporting

 Specifications:

? Required

-  Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance;

-  2+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis

-  Demonstrated knowledge of Excel and aptitude in modeling / quantitative methodologies;

-  Experience with Solomon or related accounting packages;

-  Organized, methodical, process-driven (must be comfortable with documentation as a step in any process);

-  Excellent written and oral communicator and sound teaming skills;

-  High level of ethics and integrity, as well as the strength to stand behind them;

-  Results- and detail-oriented with ability to manage and execute multiple tasks; and

-  A proactive, ?hands-on? self-starter who will prosper in a fast-paced small company.

-  Experience with transaction-heavy and/or software businesses;

-  Experience with SQL and Access;
