Triad Interactive is a women-owned small business specializing in educational software development including instructional design, graphic design, and custom programming. Triad?s flagship product is a simulated Microsoft Office learning and assessment application developed for distribution in the higher education market. Triad also develops CD-ROM and Web-based learning and assessment programs for: criminal justice, medical terminology, accounting, finance, statistics, business mathematics (quantitative skills), and general business education. We are conveniently located in downtown Washington DC near Metro Center.
Triad is seeking a Flash developer with outstanding scripting skills (JavaScript and Flash ActionScript). You will be responsible for working with a team of programmers to develop Triad?s educational products, specifically to create Flash-based simulations of a variety of software applications.
We develop in an MS Windows environment.
The ideal candidate will have: B.A./B.S. degree in computer science, multimedia, or other relevant field and solid technical experience. A degree is preferred, but not required.2+ years working with Flash and ActionScript. Extensive knowledge of JavaScript. (2+ years working experience required.)Experience integrating Flash, XML, and JavaScript.Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in e-learning development/web application development. Some Photoshop skills.Basic Flash drawing skills.Candidates with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word will be given preference. Proven troubleshooting ability. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. You will be responsible for thorough, written code documentation.
