Internal Systems Project Coordinator - Mountain View

This position is based in Mountain View, CA.

Google is searching for a motivated professional to assist with coordination and management of our financial systems projects. The person we select will serve as one of our project managers, and will also be responsible for a range of tasks across our entire database infrastructure. Duties include the creation and maintenance of project schedules and resource plans, and the collection and reporting of development and operations metrics. Project work entails coordinating systems implementations and release schedules.

This position is an entry-level project management position, which requires excellent organization and communication skills along with enough technical knowledge of IT-related disciplines to enable effective communication with our engineers.

Requirements:
BA/BS degree.
Excellent organization skills.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
Action-oriented.
Good hands-on skills with common office automation tools (e.g. Microsoft Office).
Familiarity with database environments is highly desirable (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
Familiarity with IT projects and software development processes is highly desirable.
