This position is based in Mountain View, CA.

We are looking for Localization Testing Specialists to test Google's cutting edge information technologies for all languages and cultures. Come join an exciting and stimulating environment where you can make a real impact on the localization quality.

You will be expected to work as part of our testing team, searching for, investigating, reporting and tracking defects, especially the localization issues for the languages or locales you are familiar with. Your duties will include black box testing following existing test plans and test plans that you write, designing new test cases and analyzing defect reports. Depending on your skills you might also be involved in more technical aspects of software quality.

Requirements:

Bachelor?s degree or equivalent, Computer Science or related degrees preferred.
Excellent knowledge of software QA/testing procedure.
Language proficiency and fluent level speaker required in one or more of the following:
German
French
Italian
Dutch
Portuguese
Spanish
Japanese
Korean
Hebrew
Danish
Finnish
Swedish
Norwegian
Turkish
Working knowledge of Perl or other scripting languages a plus.
Knowledge of C/C++, Java or Python a plus.
Familiarity with software localization and process.
Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies, such as web browsers, http, and html.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Excellent analytical skills.
Individual initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast pace environment.
2+ years of software testing experience with minimum 1 year of recent international testing required.
