Flourishing Seattle-based dotcom catering to a mostly female audience seeking an entry-level graphic designer/web designer.

 

As a member of our creative team, you will conceive, design, and produce Web sites, online and print advertising, viral campaigns, collateral, cookbooks, and other marketing materials for a wide range of consumer and business brands. We work hard but we also have lots of fun in a team oriented and creative atmosphere.

 

We're looking for a talented, original thinker with the proven ability to create work that is clear, clean and compelling. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.

 

Requirements:

- Strong design skills

- Knowledge and experience with HTML

- Expertise in a variety of design applications

- A solid command of typography, color, composition and design hierarchy

- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

- URL portfolio

- Design related degree or diploma

- Excellent communication skills and an ability to be a team player

- Strong production skills

 

Preferred (but not required)

- Expertise in the following applications; Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Fireworks, Freehand, InDesign, Quark

- Expertise in handcoding HTML

- Working knowledge of CSS

- Working knowledge of Flash action scripting

- Strong understanding of website UI
