We are seeking a highly motivated & talented individual to fill a unique role as Graphic/Web Designer to keep up with production demands. This is a great opportunity to learn about small business and e-commerce by working in a production intense environment.

 

Job Accountabilities:

Assist Art Director with strategic graphic/web production projects, focusing on design and copy for all marketing site initiatives in queue. Strategically look for ways to make our existing sites look top-notch, increasing design, copy, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), overall branding, etc. Work quickly and accurately, keeping up with high volume demands.

 Follow established branding guides and initiativesSite Merchandiser requests ? clean up outstanding project backlogs Create site banners ads/promotional pieces/online creative ads Spec out ideas for future Web launches and Niche Retail redesignsValidate cross-browser compatibility of XHTML/CSS pages to increase conversion rates Image manipulation and resizing Make changes within CSS during site launches Make changes to button sets during site launches Make text changes within XHTML/CSS website pages Scan images from catalogs for use in advertising/promotional needs Apply color correction and resizing to scanned images and photography Slice and dice graphics for HTML useCompress graphics for use on the Web Animate finalized slides for online bannersWork closely with Project Manager 

 

Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree required in Web Design and/or Multi-Media  2-4 years Graphic/Web design experience in a marketing and/or creative environment preferred in the following areas: e-commerce, retail, sales, direct marketing, buying, merchandising, etc. Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) design highly desired Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and multi-tasking ability Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent project management skills, ability to work in fast-paced team environmentProficient computer skills required with Microsoft Office Suite; PhotoShop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Web Design best practices, Internet Savvy, etc. Be an ambitious team player with a positive morale This is a full-time position based in Sylvan Lake, Michigan and not open for freelance work
