INTEGRATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST
This position entails supporting Software Developers from Skipjack?s client base in their development of applications that use Skipjack?s APIs. Candidates should have knowledge and understanding of web technology and have a general knowledge of web application development.
The Integration Support Specialist?s responsibilities include:
Answering technical questions from software developers integrating Skipjack into their company?s applications. Determining the best integration method (batch, real-time, COM, etc.) for a company?s business model and technology. Providing support for Skipjack-developed applications. Assisting with the maintainance and updating of technical documentation. Recommending future APIs that would assist developers wishing to integrate their applications to Skipjack.
Skills/Qualifications:
Understanding of basic programming concepts such as loops, if-statements, functions, etc. Ability to read and understand scripting languages such as ASP, PHP and JavaScript. Strong knowledge of the Internet and how it works from a conceptual perspective. Conceptual understanding of HTML, XML, Scripting Languages Working knowledge of WWW related products (IIS, Apache) Ability to explain technical issues in a non-technical way. Extreme attention to detail Excellent communication skills, oral and written Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to get things done
