About the Opportunity

We are searching for a highly motivated Interactive Marketing Analyst.  In this role you will support the Client Strategy and Marketing team on the development of client ready marketing materials and presentations with the ultimate goal of providing clients and prospects with product value propositions and market research. You will assist in the maintenance and creation of new content for the company online sales resource center. In addition you will be responsible for creating written rationales to effectively communicate the best possible advertising program that fits our client?s profile.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Research---80%

?  Applies secondary and primary competitive research in order to build industry/client landscape materials

?  Responsible for analyzing marketing requests and utilizing the available marketing tools

?  Analyzes industry/client relevant data and creates client ready marketing materials based on findings

?  Assists Client Strategy & Marketing team in Determining ROI and competitive analyses for key prospects and campaigns

?  Conduct and/or access secondary research information to prove the value of products offered and formulate in digestible, client/prospect-appropriate fashion

?  Learns and understands the difference between publishers and can identify the strengths and weaknesses of each publication within a market. 

Sales & Marketing---20%

?  Conducts client service related projects such as preparing call spreadsheets, solicitation pieces, Industry research papers, etc

?  Assists in the maintenance and creation of new content for the sales resource portal at the direction from the Client Strategy & Marketing Director.

?  Responsible for all weekly content uploads to company sales resource portal

?  Ensures information is accurate on all projects worked

?  Participates in functional training initiatives



Requirements:

?  Bachelors Degree in Marketing or a related field

?  Strong verbal and written communication skills

?  Strong prioritization and organizations skills

?  Computer skills are mandatory. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (must be familiar and comfortable using the Internet).  Microsoft Access knowledge a plus.

?  Ability to set and meet goals and objectives

?  Attention to detail, follow through and ability to multitask

?  Experience with application of basic marketing concepts

?  Must posses skills to meet multiple deadlines and work in a time sensitive environment 

?  Ability to work independently and solve practical problems, applying analytical reasoning

?  Must present a professional demeanor

?  Must be able to work with diverse client personalities

 

Scope of Posiiton:

Goals ? By the 2nd month of employment, Marketing Analysts should be creating a minimum of 5 Marketing projects per week.
