Interactive Producer

Webby Award-winning interactive design firm has an immediate opening for a resourceful project manager. We are looking for someone who can manage all areas of interactive development through intelligent use of information design, interface design and technology. You will identify client goals and develop scope of work for interactive projects; maintain budgets and schedules; work with the creative team, attend client meetings, locate resources; create proposals; and build client relationships by exceeding expectations with your savvy project management skills.

Responsibilities plan and monitor core project components (deliverables, schedule, budget) with Director of Client Serviceswork with creative teams from the earliest concept stage forward to ensure the representation of client needsdevelop intelligent approaches to information design and architecturebe the company?s main client contact on a daily or weekly basis through meetings and written correspondencehold project status meetings and author weekly production status reportsensure that proposed creative concepts can be produced within client specified timeframes and budgetsday-to-day management of team contributors

Requirementsstrong business writing and technical writing skills (client letters, functional specifications, technical documents)prior experience (2-4 years) as an interactive PM or directly related experienceBachelors degree

Preferred Experience



While not required, we prefer candidates with as much of the following background as possible. strong familiarity with the state of the web from a business and aesthetic perspective strong familiarity with usability standards and best practicesexcellent organizational skills and project planning experienceability to delegate tasks and responsibilities to inside and outside resourcestechnical knowledge of the web and the software quality assurance processproficiency with MS Office software including MS Visio experience analyzing and developing content architectures and information design solutions
