Interactive Web Designer

Blattner Brunner is a full service advertising agency that is known for re-energizing brands through business building and brand building initiatives.  We are 150 employees strong in Pittsburgh, DC and Atlanta, and thrive with a solid client base that includes Zippo, GlaxoSmithKline, Time Warner Cable and Capital One. We are currently looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented individual to join our dynamic office to insure on-time, on-budget delivery of agency products and services.

 





Job Function:

To lead the creative/design teams in the design and production of interactive interfaces, online advertising, websites and other digital communications.  Works independently to design and develop page layout and navigational schemes to most effectively communicate with online audiences. Proactively develops and interprets creative platforms, design rationales and other creative presentation materials and executes them on time and on budget.

 

Main Duties:



 

1.  Acts as lead designer during development of user-centered visual design concepts for interactive products, optimizing the use of screen layout and user interface elements.

 

2.  Interpret overall creative direction and creative platform for project based on creative brief, project objectives, and client and user needs analysis.

 

3.  Support project team in development of product strategy, including creative platform, storyboards, creative concept, and production specs.

 

4.  Employ significant understanding of additional digital technologies such as Flash, Photoshop, digital audio/video, PDF development and other technologies to be determined by our client and internal needs.

 

5.  Develop materials for new business development and internal use ? including support materials for new business presentations and departmental projects.

 

6.  Coordinate project activity in all stages of design and development. Update team on status against schedule, budget and client quality.



7.  Implement decision independently, when necessary make sound judgments on behalf of the team, and show leadership throughout all processes.

 

Requirements:





Four (4) year degree in Web or Graphic Design and/or equivalent.  Strong portfolio or able to demonstrate Interactive Design experience.

 

 

Three to Five years as an interactive Designer with at least one (1) year experience in an agency environment.
