Internet Administrator

Intersections Inc. headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia provides credit management and identity theft protection solutions to consumers and financial services partners.  Our efforts are focused on proactive services that empower consumers with the information they need to minimize the risk of identity theft. We are currently looking for an Internet Administrations to join our dynamic IT Operations Team. Position responsibilities will include: Under the guidance and direction from the Senior Internet Administrator, the individual in this position will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Intersections? extensive Web-based Information Technology systems.  Work closely with the IT staff and outside Web consultants to deploy complex new Web-based systems. Ensure that existing Web-based interactive and back-end services are operating properly and at optimum performance levels. Daily monitoring of Web-based services, including the troubleshooting and reporting of issues and resolutions to IT management.

 

Required qualifications include:

 Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Systems, or equivalent working experience.  3 years relevant industry experience. Solid experience with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and associated tools and services. Experience with Windows NT and Windows 2000/2003 Network Administration. Knowledge of related technologies such as TCP/IP, network monitoring, VPNs, database systems, internet and Windows security, Active Directory, etc. Hands-on experience with PC, server, and network hardware. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills a must.  The individual should demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
