J2EE Web Developer

The Senior Java Developer will create reliable, high-impact J2EE solutions for our clients. Responsibilities J2EE/Struts development experience on several projects required. Work with other technologists (Database Architect, System Architect, etc) to establish the technical architecture Depending on assignment, may include mentoring junior developers (architecture design & modeling, code reviews, etc.) Present cost-effective solutions to clients and help identify and resolve issues Provide input into the project plan for definition, development, and subsequent phases Work with System Architect to produce the initial hardware/software budget Experience/Skills Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of systems integration experience and 2+ years prior experience in Java technologies (J2EE, EJB, Struts, JSP and various application servers, etc). Object-oriented analysis and design (UML a plus) N-tier architectures that integrate web applications with databases and legacy systems Load balancing, security, and distributed data concepts Unix, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server) Successful completion of entire project life cycles; management experience a plus Client-facing facilitation, communication, and presentation skills strongly required For immediate consideration please contact Michael Chiang at 310-209-6838 or email him at
