JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER

The Junior Project Manager?s primary function is client-facing data syndication project management.  In this role, the Junior PM will collaborate with clients, potential clients during the sales process, project managers, and the technology team in the planning, execution and everyday management of any and all data syndication projects.  Activities will include preparation of project documentation ? scope management, business requirements, project plans, timelines and oral and written client communications.  In conjunction with the BLSS team, the Junior PM will help ensure data syndication deliverables meet client expectations within agreed timeframes and are of the highest quality.


Primary Responsibilities:

 Manage ongoing client relationships for data syndication customers, from initial sales meetings through general maintenanceMaintain internal and external project communication, utilizing developed relationships across multiple divisions and clientsCoordinate the overall development of data syndication projects, including requirements gathering, resource allocation, design and documentation, scheduling, development, implementation, tracking, and status reportingPrioritize changes in scope and client expectationBalance multiple clients and competing prioritiesEffectively manage and complete assigned tasksMaintain internal project and task tracking systemAssist in recommending new and alternative technical solutions, including analysis of impact on existing infrastructure

Qualifications

 Bachelor?s degreeTwo (2) to three (3) years experience as a Project Manager/Business Analyst with proven success in developing and implementing complex project plansWorking knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and XMLExperience with database driven internet application developmentHighly motivated, with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and aggressive deadlinesExcels in operating in a cross-division, collaborative environmentEffective in interacting with demanding clients, including ability to assist with external IT needs assessmentsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent problem solving and oral and written communication skills Sales support background
