Job Description:

Actively participate in design and development of new and existing large scale, distributed software systems using object-oriented techniques. May provide consultation and support on complex projects and should be able to perform as a top-level contributor/specialist.

Successful candidates will be expected to coherently discuss at a conceptual level their previous development achievements and discuss in detail and/or demonstrate their applicable skills, as necessary.

Qualifications:
? Demonstrable knowledge and proven experience in applying advanced design and object-oriented programming techniques to deliver successful systems utilizing best practices.
? Strong problem solving skills that can be applied on an individual basis and within small groups.
? Strong documentation and verbal communication skills.
? Broad knowledge and experience in Java and Linux/UNIX technologies.
? Working knowledge of OOD and UML.
? Familiar with various development methodologies specifically agile development, RUP, and other effective deployment and maintenance techniques.
? MS Office application knowledge.
? Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
? High degree of professionalism.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees/management.
? Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace environment.
? B.S. or equivalent work experience.
? Eligible to work in the U.S.
